Francis Lacy Scott
Head of Claims
Francis is a specialist head injury lawyer and head of the brain injury team at asb aspire. Since he first started undertaking this work in the early 1980’s Francis has earned a reputation as a very experienced and respected personal injury lawyer, a fact recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers Directories of the leading Personal Injury Practitioners in the country and has recovered many millions of pounds in damages.
With memberships of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Headway specialist panel of Head Injury Lawyers, Francis’s client focus is on really effective rehabilitation following brain injury as the pathway to maximizing a client’s recovery. By working closely with many rehabilitation specialists over the years, he has built a knowledge and contact base which is unrivalled. This means that getting the right help to a client quickly and efficiently becomes much easier and helps ensure that the best possible recovery outcome for a client can be achieved.
Francis has a genuine interest in helping the survivors of brain injury and devotes an enormous amount of time outside of his work as a Lawyer to this. Apart from regular charity fund raising (mostly through sponsored bike rides), Francis is a founder member of the Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum (of which he is chair), a member of the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum and a trustee of Headway Hurstwood Park. On invitation, he has also chaired a National Brain Injury Conference.
Happily married for many years, Francis lives on the south coast with his family and enjoys music, the theatre, and his motorbike.
