Qualifying in 1978, he joined Andrew Gardner Partnership (which merged with asb aspire llp in June 2007) to start up the litigation department in 1981 becoming a partner the following year.  Since 1985, he has specialised exclusively in Road traffic Accident and Personal Injury claims, an obvious path for him due to a love of cars and having personally suffered whiplash in three road accidents.

He is member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and has represented MASS as Intervener in several leading Court of Appeal decisions.

A long time advocate for simplifying the process in accident claims, he has helped develop InterResolve’s IRBICs scheme since 2005 which has led to his chairing LawAlliance, a nationwide group of personal injury law firms which operate the protocol.  He also sits on the Claims Standards Council Executive Board.

Aside from his enthusiasm for cars and cinema, Chris enjoys worldwide travel and speaks fluent French.
